With a total population of 65,000 and approximately 3 million visitors each year, the Tahoe Basin remains the same awe inspiring place that drew the Washoe Indians here ten thousand years ago. Lake Tahoe is a magical place that can’t help but inspire and rejuvenate. Tourism is the area’s main source of income, while visitors and locals alike bask in the outdoor and indoor recreational options available at every turn. Lake Tahoe remains an icon of American history, tradition and values. We see our history in its reflection.

Tahoe Film Fest will present a select group of films as well as special events which will bring together a unique mixture of celebrities, film buffs, students, entertainment industry professionals, and members of the community.

Our purpose is to celebrate groundbreaking, maverick filmmakers that have demonstrated a particular voice contributing to the creative process of filmmaking and are dedicated to enriching local culture and raising consciousness of film as an art form. Lake Tahoe provides the picture perfect backdrop for an ultimate film festival experience.

Tahoe Film Fest Offers Unique Sponsorship Opportunities

With a projected audience of 5,500 in our tenth year, a rich slate of films and a filmmaker tribute mixed with events will provide intimate opportunities for promotion and networking amongst an attentive, affluent and trend conscious audience. Sponsor logos and/or company names will appear in film festival collateral materials, website and event signage where available and appropriate. Advertising space will be provided in the official catalog and in other printed materials. Build target market awareness and enhance public perception by aligning your company branding with either a film program or special event.

We encourage the active participation of our sponsors and will work to develop a partnership that can customize programs according to sponsor needs. Sponsors can initiate promotions at the festival with a presence at official sites where you can provide onsite sampling of products to all festival attendees.
